Come and see our movie “Bowling for Columbine” and then attend our committee meeting for our gun control groups. (1 group in Mt. Vernon, and 1 group in White Plains).

We need YOU to help us get a national gun regulation in place to protect our schools, movies colleges and even our elementary schools.

Enough is Enough.

Where: Memorial Methodist Church on Bryant Avenue in White Plains

Some time in Mid January( to be announced) my group, Moveon will be hosting a meeting to end gun violence( gun control)Anyone who wishes to attend is welcome,whether they are Moveon members or not. We will form a committee to address this issue after watching the film, Columbine. Please be on watch for announcement of time and date. Please comment if you have interest in attending to give an idea of how big a space will be needed.

Now that the election is over and President Obama has been re-elected, we can rejoice and relax but only a little. We need to keep pressuring him and Congress to do the things we elected him to do,

In that vein, Moveon is having a cross country event. In Westchester we will have a mock funeral for Medicare, Medicaid and rally for tax hikes on the rich . It will be held at 222 Mamaroneck Avenue in front of Rep Nita Lowey’s office at 4:30 PM. We will have speakers and a mock coffin and Santa may even drop in. We will present Rep. Lowey with a petition regarding the tax rates for the rich , Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security. If you are in the area you are welcome to attend.
